, Stewardess Evelyn van den Heuvel (32) from Berkel en Rodenrijs has become seriously ill from nerve gasses on board of KLM aircraft. Still her contract was terminated with immediate effect by KLM.
She’s not accepting this fact, as was made clear in the Amsterdam courtroom. Van den Heuveln is suing her employer for the district-court judge because, even after years of pleading and problems, they won’t recognize her complaints.
“According to the company physician she’s not ill. KLM tried everything to keep her within the company and have her do substitute activities, but unfortunately that hasn’t worked out. De illness she claims to have, hasn’t been scientifically proved formally” so say the KLM advocates/counsels/lawyers/attorneys.
Medical doctor and former KLM pilot Michel Mulder, who is researching this so called ‘aerotoxic syndrome’, claims the opposite. “According to new data approximately 70 pilots, 500 cabin crew and 35.000 passengers who are physically prone to the toxic TCP fumes, from this. Some will die because of it. Pilots become sick in the cockpit.””
